GENERAL DESCRIPTION
It's the men's fitness category with the least muscle mass, emphasizing overall physique balance while maintaining an athletic appearance.The low body fat percentage allows for a six-pack, defined shoulders, and a defined back, but not with the extreme conditioning seen in bodybuilding. Men's fitness competitors should present themselves like athletic models with a polished appearance, exuding self-confidence and a broad smile. This includes initial presence, posing, transitions, and overall presentation.
SCORING CRITERIA
- Balance among all muscle groups, with an emphasis on the six-pack abs and athletic appearance
- Overall symmetry and balance are fundamental scoring criteria. While leg muscle development is not
scored as such, a noticeable disproportion between the upper and lower body will be penalized - Stage presence and confidence befitting an athletic model
- Overall aesthetic appearance.
